Our Mission

YesGov is a joint venture public benefit corporation with a clear mission: to assist smaller government organizations in properly establishing their online presence and communication through official .gov domains. We are focused on helping with the .gov movement set out by CISA, ensuring that government agencies and subsidiaries properly transition to official .gov domains for websites, services, and communication to ensure public trust.

We believe that every government body, regardless of size, should have access to secure, compliant, and professional digital services. Our mission is to make this transition seamless and affordable for smaller organizations that may lack the specialized IT resources needed to navigate this process.

Our Solution

YesGov provides a comprehensive managed service solution that addresses all these challenges. We handle the entire process—from obtaining your .gov domain to maintaining your secure infrastructure—all for a simple, population-based annual rate. If you have an existing website, we can transfer it to our secure hosting. Security is our number one priority—we will scan your existing website for vulnerabilities and fix them or inform you of work needed. All websites must be hosted on hardware we control, as we cannot vouch for other hardware or providers.

Per the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the U.S. federal agency under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responsible for defending critical infrastructure, government networks, and the nation's digital systems against cyber threats, and the Office of Management and Budget's Memorandum M-23-10 mandating .gov domains and secure hosting for federal agencies, state and local governments are strongly encouraged to adopt these same standards. YesGov ensures your entity meets these federal requirements while handling all the complexity for you.
